Penelope, thanks for reporting on the extensive stammering by 9% Nan. I saw only a short clip (not on ABC) but did enjoy it quite a bit. Not quite as bad as the Messiah w/o a script and teleprompter.

Piglosi on Stephy did leave her self wide open with some pretty testy questions from Stephy who in all fairness did grill her pretty good.(she's having a bad makeup day as well) When asked why she absolutely won't give a vote on drilling for the 8th time she finally blurted out "because the President won't do this or that".

RG, excellent point about her alleged motivation for preventing drilling and thus damaging the USA. About her really, really bad day...

Does anybody think she would have done her Mussolini/Stalin act if Obambam the Ultimate Sophomore had thought to call her before announcing that he could go along with drilling?

In one sense you could say he threw her under the bus into that rapidly growing pile. She exposed her fascist side to squash drilling right about when the new leader of her party tells the world it'll be OK as long as we're careful. He exposed her as a fool. (OK, no news flash there.)

Arrowhead, I think you can add that poor clumsy sucker Salazar to the pile too. I doubt he'd have made such a fool of himself pimping for $10 gas if he's going to have to go out and support the Sophomore tomorrow.

The sucker was a good image. They all kind of look like they're gasping for air.

Also must have been a bad week for the Obama campaign team aka MSM based on the way they're crying and whining about McCain's ads. THEY MUST BE VERY EFFECTIVE! I hope they keep it up.

Attn, MSM: 1. Obama played the Race Card BECAUSE IT'S THE ONLY CARD HE HAS! He has no experience or connections he can talk about and he has never achieved one damn thing except for being elected to the Senate.

2. IOW HE'S A CELEBRETARD JUST LIKE THE BRITNEY/PARIS AD SAYS.

Thanks for the excellent wrap up! Tomorrow is going to be interesting. Will Pelosi try to censure the House Republicans that show up to do the People’s business?
I think it would be great if she tried to...the vote on it would probably look much like the vote would on Drilling if she allowed it to the floor...(snicker)..which means ‘no censure’ and ‘yes to drilling’.

It is amazing to me that over 75% of this country wants the right to access our own resources and one woman is preventing an up or down vote!

Perhaps she is the one that needs to be censured, reprimanded or expelled!!

Did the Repubs ever close the House to debate like this?? This may be the first time ever this has been attempted and especially on such a critical issue.
If you like $4/gal, Thank Nazi Nancy.

Have faith, Charlie Bass (Former R. N.H.) lost his seat 2 years ago to a total Moonbat. He was also a Main Street R. who singlehandedly blocked a couple of ANWR drilling bills along with Mike Castle.
The NH moonbat will likely lose this year but Bass the Ass never understood the real reason for his loss. Google the Main Street Republicans, you will want to be ill after you see who is on their list.

"I just don’t get it. Our side just misses so many openings."

You can say all those things, but if the leftist MSM doesn't print or show them, you won't know about it. I'm sure this is very frustrating to conservative politicians. And it's worse than that - you have the NYT today actually telling the world that McCain is joining Obama with regard to drilling for oil. It is a lie, but it is being picked up by much of the regional, but still leftist, media. Just think about that for a moment - one of the major news sources in American media telling an outright lie, and no other media source being critical of them.

Talk radio and the internet help counteract them, but the MSM still controls the information and beliefs of those with little or no interest in politics. You might say, "Those people don't vote." But Obama really is a Paris Hilton/Spears "celebrity". That may make him less attractive to thinking types, but it brings the "celebrity loving" voter to the polls.

Romney was most certainly a Member in 2004, I like Mitt, but that made my blood boil.

Romney is not an active Member of MSR but he certainly was a Member as Governor of MA.

Well that's a maggot gagger. Actually, although I regard him as admirable in his personal and business life and regard him as very intelligent, I've never been a fan because of his political record as governor. It just didn't match what he was saying as presidential candidate.

Knowing he's just one more who is owned and operated by Soros rules him out in my book even if he was smart enough to get his name off the official list in time for the national race.

-- Romney was most certainly a Member [of the Republican Main Street Partnership] in 2004 --

Thanks for pointing that out. I should have done a little more research. One qualification for membership appears to be "holds an elected office," which Romney currently does not, but previously did.

A little bit of digging shows he was a member while he was governor of Massachusetts.
