Pelosi censors civilian acces to Democracy in Action, clears gallery of observers in anticipation of physical force on house republicans.
Kinda reminds me of the People’s Republic of China and the tactics of their government.

I would like to recall congress..... but, i understand what you mean. President Bush, please recall these obstructionist. I predict that more than half of them will balk. They will whine like stuck pigs, and the country will see them for what they are. They can't help themselves.
Will the media cover them and this great moment in American history?

Tom Udall (D-NM) voted against the adjournment.Whoa... Udall is one of the biggest eviro-greenie in the House. His campaign ads (to replace retiring ill Pete Domenici) follow the Rat party line -- curtail oil speculators, build more refineries, more alternative energy, conservation, etc. Must have an alternative motive -- likely will tell NM voters his vote shows he wants to solve the energy crisis knowing full well that the Dem majority would carry the measure to adjourn without him.

I have written several times to my Congress person, Kirsten Gillibrand in Northern NYS about the serious issue of energy costs getting to a point where we in the cold, frigid part of NYS are going to be in dire need. She has answered me, bit I'm not happy with her responses.
I just wrote another letter based on what happened today in the Congress. I know she will not be happy when it is read.

Why not start a preyer thread? What happened, did Teddy fall on his face drunk again?
To: ctdonath2
Not much.
But it would alert them to the intensity of feeling . . . Much more likely for that to happen than for folks to go to Wash DC en masse.
I don’t have a lot of confidence that sufficient individuals will be activated energetically long enough and sufficiently enough to sober sufficient numbers of Congress critters up . . . long enough to bring about sufficient change for functionally significant levels of hope to be warranted . . . in the natural.
In the spiritual realm, perhaps things can be wound up enough to really change things . . . maybe even bringing some delays to the horrors ahead.
