The GOP didn’t choose to run him. He chose to run and he won the primaries based on the endorcement of the New York Times. The Times then waited a month and then released the so-called “scandal”.

We had good candidates and they lost because of the liberal media. Not everyone owns a computer. Duncan Hunter comes to mind. If Hunter had liberal leanings, the California press wouldn’t have left him alone.
