Barack Obama is trouncing John McCain in the race for the White House -- at least in sales of T-shirts, badges, baseball caps and other campaign merchandise. "We sell about 70 percent Obama stuff -- way more than McCain," said the vendor, who asked not to be named....

Well duh! He's nothing but a frigging rock star without substance so it's no surprise that he'd be leading the way in trinket sales. That's alright come November they'll be using the t shirts to wipe the egg of they're faces! More absolutely USELESS info from the fawning MSM!

Yeah, because McCain supporters are actually normal, working people with clothes and not backstreet rabble requiring party uniforms.

A lot of people who vote for McCain are not the type to wear a political tee shirt or baseball cap. I'm one of them.

The sales figures only indicate the “consumerism” of the Obama camp, and the young, immature nature of his supporters.

another reason is that since McCain is a RINO, most people that are voting for him are not thrilled about it, they simply see him as the lesser of 2 evils.

IOW, I’m voting for McCain, but in no way will I put a McCain bumpersticker on my car like I did in 04 for Bush.

Agreed. That was part of the point I was making. His supporters or either older and more mature or simply don’t like him enough to announce it. I’m mainly of the latter category.

I was thinking of getting an Obama shirt just so all the people that see it know that I am not a racist and I am a much better person than they are.

Who wants to wear anything McCain? You may as well wear a white hooded robe.

“Do you also have a porch monkey?”

Not in my neighborhood. I think the lawn jockey scares them away.

I see a new market. Vanity underwear with your favorite politician’s face stenciled on the seat.

If you need a t shirt with BHO’s mug on it to convince people you’re not a racist then you’ve probably got bigger problems to deal with ;-)
