Once upon a time, people who wanted to be president were not expected to admit it in public. This mask of false indifference had to be dropped when the rise of primaries forced candidates to campaign actively for the office.

When you quote from a source FAVORABLE to the subject in question, it is not slander, it is reporting first hand.
Like the quotes directly from Brigham Young about Joe needing to certify you before getting into the Kingdom. Is that slander? If so may I suggest changing the name of the LDS university, no sense naming it after a Mormon basher like Brigham Young, correct?

"D"? The subtlety will be lost on the intended audience, unfortunately. They see it only as their Joseph-Smith given right.

Fanaticism comes cheap. I will 'prophecy' we'll see more of it in this thread today.
Gabriel: Simon, don't you remember when we fought together? When we threw down the renegades?
Simon: They wanted to be gods.
Gabriel: I don't want to be a god. I just want it back to the way it was when He loved us best.

Personally I was for Romney before the primaries started. But with the large field and Hucklebee and Thomas that diluted the vote and when Christ endorsed McCain and he won, then Romney could not catch up without making it a convention fight.
I was at CPAC when he gave his concession speech. He was the person that everyone wanted to see other than the President and Dick Chaney. McCain was not the favorite among the conservatives then.
That battle of the primaries is over. McCain won and despite all his faults I will vote for him over Obama. I will not give my ballot vote to Obama who does not favor America first, but instead he favors himself.
Conservatives and Freepers want Obama to be elected than all they have to do is what happened in 2006, don't vote. We lost badly due to the petulance of the conservative Republican in 2006 . Do not make the same mistake!!!
