Speaking at a Town Hall Meeting in New Mexico today, July 15, 2008, Sen. John McCain vowed to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice for his crimes against America . . . (see video)
This is the kind of grit and determination we need in a President. John McCain has the resolve and strength to do what he says he will do. This is the McCain who needs to keep showing up at every appearance on the campaign trail, and on television.

Don’t they all say this? President Bush has been looking for him for over seven years. Why should we believe McCain will be any more successful?
I think it is time for a proof of life check. Make them prove that he is alive. We should mock his death and make them prove that he is still above ground.
He would be looking more than Obama would … ;-)

I think the press misunderstood Senator Obama, he probably said he’d “get Osama and his she-goat over for dinner as soon as Michelle and I are set-up in the White House” or somesuch.
I believe the US has been trying to "get" Osama for awhile now.
Does McCain have some Superhero powers he's not sharing?

McCain really means it. He’s gonna put OJ on the case.
OJ will be in charge of making sure Osama is not hiding on any of the world's golf courses.
Bush didn’t seem to have the stomach to pursue ol’ bennie as strongly as he should have. Mayhap John will be more forceful?
Of course we don’t know what is happening in the background. If Osama bin Toilet is living in the mountains between Afghan and Pakistan, how much searching can we do without starting another international incident?
If OBL is dead we need his body and we need to kill anyone refusing to turn it over, and anyone who defends them. If he is dead we need to use the search for his body as a reason to go kill a million rock chucking radicals. That is how you win a war, by locating the bad guys and then killing them all....Not by hamstringing our boys like Bush has, before the job is done and sending in the state department to make friends with our enemies (like Pakistan).
McCain’s determination to “get bin Laden” places shallow political theater within the heart of his campaign. Our real enemy is Wahhabi jihadism, not the latest sociopath prophet emerging from the Wahhabi/Salafi heresy.
Wahhabi/Salafi heresy not only justifies oligarchy, but also empowers stateless terrorism. This heresy considers Jews, Christians, Sunnis, Shi’as and secularists sub-human, legitimate objects for slaughter. These terrorists suborn traditional Muslim loyalties valuing family, tribe and country, and substitute limitless murder and destruction. Terrorist converts are not all stereotypical primitives, but also university graduates accommodating fanaticism within academic excellence in sciences and engineering. Hence, frightening capabilities emerge from fifty-year-old worldwide technologies and stockpiles for weapons such as Davy Crockett missiles firing 51-pound nuclear 0.02-kiloton warheads, and Astor torpedoes carrying Hiroshima size warheads. Chemical and biological agents can now emanate from dual-use facilities, and cottage industries.
State Department reports many African, Oriental and Asian countries becoming allies against Wahhabi jihadism. Yet they remember our pathetic responses to fifteen terrorist actions by four successive Presidents. Minimum penance demonstrating credibility obliges persistence for Iraq and Afghanistan viable representative governments. Credibility requires thwarting al Qaeda determination for Babylon to become the rallying point for the Caliphate, and using success in Afghanistan to destablize Pakistan.
“Getting bin Laden” hardly constitutes victory when we are engaged in the first campaigns of a long war. The Wahhabis came to power by helping the House of Saud in the 1930’s and suspended assassination in exchange for funding their schools worldwide, so taking them away from power worldwide should require at least two generations. Sustaining initiatives of African, Oriental and Asian countries brings Global War on Terror victory by frustrating plans, breaking alliances and fracturing organizations of Wahhabi jihadists into ever less effective units. Without cities, countries or armies they live out unnaturally shortened lives as pariahs. Sun Tzu would consider mobilizing allies to minimize bloodshed and isolate and fracture the enemy an extraordinary warfare achievement. McCain considers statements about “getting bin Laden” as one tool to get the White House.
McCain will promise anything to anyone to get votes (except to conservatives).
He'd have to have not merely super powers. He would have to have God powers, to raise Osama from his long dead and dessicated bones.
