No doubt that Peter Cook was a sleezy man but for Christie Brinkley to air all of that out in public so that she could "win" is atrocious. She picked the loser.

It's the old adage: It Takes Two to Tango. She is on husband number 4. I think this says alot about her. I do. WOMEN, we MUST take responsibility in our lives and in our marriages. You cannot tell me that she didn't know in some way about his porn problem. They hinted during the trial that at times they used porn together. So she implicitly condoned the use. I would bet my last dollar that he wasn't getting much at home. She seems a tad self-centered.

Christie did the right things. If she hadn't, you can bet sleazy Cook or somebody would have “leaked” all kinds of false statements. Also, in New York, you do not have closed hearing. It is the only or one of the few states with these kinds of laws.

The kids would have found out eventually and might also have been exposed to false allegations against their mother. Look what happened to Obama’s opponent for Senate in a state where divorce hearings were supposed to be closed.
