Congress must still lift its own legislative ban before offshore drilling can happen.

If someone else hasn't noted this alreadly, I believe the Congressional ban EXPIRES this year, September, I beleive.

That's the beauty of this. Congress won't have to take action to lift the ban, they'll have to do so to KEEP it in place. They'll have to vote AGAINST increased oil production before the election.

LoL! A prohibitive general offshore drilling law about to sunset in September. LoL! It sure does explains the president Bush’s timing to lift the executive ban. HeeeHaaaa....
