Sorry about that I have been racing through cyber space and now I can't find where I saw the video of Ann's friend from Washington State who chatted with her in Washington State shortly after she gave birth.

Questions swirl about how they did such a flight in 61' from Hawaii to Wash. State with a new born and was he really born in Canada.

I will keep looking. I may have found it on google. I'll try and find it.

Don’t fret, Rod...thanks for your report. So...what were airline rules back in ‘61. Anyone?

Face the Nation has the second best remembrance of Tony Snow after FNS; very nice and sincere comments by Bob Schieffer and his panel.

Howdy snugs. I’m going to do a leg of lamb on the BBQ today. Will be using the rotessary and adding a bit of apple smoke for flavor. It will be mouth watering.

Pray for W and Snowman’s family

Juan seemed to be more hurt by the loss of Tony more than anyone. It seems like he finally realized that Conservatives are NOT racists and his liberal friends are.

Just watching him you saw that he lost a very close friend. Juan isn’t a braindead lib and is not afraid to question the lib establishment. Seems that he was really touched by Snowman.

Pray for W and Our Troops

“I can’t take much more...”

LOL! Understandable, but thanks for this unique thread. And huge thanks to you who faithfully and intelligently report on the who, what and when of the Sunday morning talk shows. For those of us who can’t watch or record, you’re doing a huge favor.

Its impossible to read all that there is to read by the Texas darlin',Atlas Shrugs,NRO, The Thinker, and elsewhere and not come back with some serious questions about Bomas birth place.

If it was Hawaii then we are asked to believe that his mother Ann Dunham who pissed off both sets of parents by getting pregnant at 17 by Barak Sr., actually hung around Honolulu to ostensibly "tout" her pregnancy for 9 months. All this in circa 1961 when it was not fashionable to be pregnant out of wedlock especially by a black man, instead of leaving town and having the baby somewhere else.

(initiating a smell test here) If she did leave town, and did go somewhere else, was it Canada. Possibly near where she graduated high school in Washington State? Did she have the baby there and then meet up with her friend Susan Blake in the video a couple of posts ago by Miss Didi and tell her friend that she did not even know how to change the baby's diapers as Blake remarks inthe video?

(inquiring minds...) Now on the other hand if she did have the baby in Honolulu how the hell do you make a trans-Atlantic flight with a new born without knowing how to change the baby's diapers!! That does not make a lot of sense.

Either way the birth certificate question will loom due to several excellent bloggers who took the time energy and due diligence to point out glaring deficiencies and one dude at kos who showed how to generate a blank certificate supposedly to play a joke on mcCain.

The whole thing needs looking into and I would start with someone in Honolulu, someone in Washington State and someone in canada looking for evidence!

In 1961 an 18 year old white girl with a black baby will not be incognito. Someone will have seen her somewhere. Question is who, where and when.

I'm glad you made that point Snugs.

Last week, I heard a sound bite clip of Barack 'Two Pressers'* Obama, and had to ask myself, was that a run-on sentence? It sounded more like a head-on collision.

*Two Pressers - The only politician who has to give two press conferences... one to say something, then a second one an hour later to explain what he meant in the first.

Now that you mention “equal” it dawned on me that perhaps the Equal Protection clause in the constitution may prove to be our downfall. The courts use it to clobber us over the head.

P.S. Did you say in post 454 that Hawaii to Seattle is “trans-Atlantic”? (never mind) ;-)

The distances in the west are beyond many peoples understanding. when I was growing up, we thought nothing of driving 80 miles to go to a movie, or to the grocery store. (and that was just one way!)

I would presume that because of Tony's death it was felt that Wallace as the current host should cut short his vacation and do the show.

Read or heard yesterday Chris called Fox and said he wanted to come back and do the show and wanted to make it a tribute to Tony.

I am hoping that more of us can get back on track about posting comments and observations from the shows. I do believe we got spoiled by the excellent talents of Phsstpok with his preview thread on Saturdays. He let us know, through the memes of the week, what to expect. In any case, and in a great compliment to him, I believe we all grew intellectually through his efforts here. We need to take up all the slack he left. This thread used to get 100's of posts each week, very often topping 1000.

That said, there is an election coming up, the Sunday show screaming faces are still out there, spinning, yelling, lying, interrupting, etc, etc. We need to base this thread on them, their biases, and the comments of their guests. Heck, it's also what Tony thought we did best here.

Thanks in advance!
