Thank you sir.
I apologize for my absence from here. Work has carried my hither and yon.
Even now I’m in a hotel room in Rochester NY.
Things should start slowing down soon...and I’ll be back here on a regular basis.
Amen.
Blitzer frothing over Obama bringing Chuck hagel ‘who has been a critic of the war’ to Iraq. I hope someone grabs Obama by his chin strap and shows him first hand the work our Troops have done, so he understands the consequences of defeat and retreat Democrat policy.
No porblem. Our church schedule has changed in recent years, and as I’m now teaching catechism, I miss all the shows, so getting reports from folks here is emmensely helpful (another good reason to miss Phsstpok, for his indepth Saturday Pre-show thread).
Lately we’ve gotten away from doing so.
Anyway, I’m now listening to the CSPAN coverage of the shows. Right now they have Brokjaw and company trying to pump up Obama after his disastorous flip-flopping.
Brokjaw is saying that the Jessee Jackson slapdown helps Obama (which is why I thought the whole thing was staged). LOL! Now Andrea Mitchell is waying in on why McCain is having problems, and offering her advice for him! Now she’s talking about Jessee and his remarks, and how Barack is trying to get white votes.
Now Harold Ford on MTP is talking about how terrible Phil Grahm is for saying we’re whiners and how it’s going to torpedo McCain. What a moron.
Even then some crazy a$$ judge will stop the drilling...

“Brokjaw is saying that the Jessee Jackson slapdown helps Obama (which is why I thought the whole thing was staged). “
When you issue an apology for something the world doesn’t know about yet...how can anyone with a brain NOT believed it was staged?
Jackson has been in this game for too long to NOT know that there is always a possibility the mic is “hot”
President Bush speaking live now on FOX about Tony..
The President eloquent as always
I'd have just settled for a corkscrew landing...
CLEANUP ON AISLE 13
Tears...We lost a good person in Tony. Prayers for his family.
Brokjaw wraps up with a tribute to Tony Snow, he plays part of Russert’s interview with Tony back in February.
Next week MTP has an exclusive with Algore.
I was recently reminded of how foul and vulgar some posters are at DU, not recommended for the faint at heart.
Arnold Swatrzennager.... He's going to spot dem-lite environmentalism.... Geesh!
Arnold discussing forest fires. Wants fed $....
Blaming possibility of global warming on fire season increase!
The press-organization-who-shall-not-be-used has an item coming across the wires that 9 U.S. GI’s have been killed in an attack in Afghanistan - PER FOX NEWS
Obama on Fahreed Zacaria CNN show, happened after the Jesse Jackson gaff, because Fahreed mention it as on of the things he doesn’t bring up because he wanted a different interview, typical CNN softball for Democrats, might as well be Chris Matthews.
Has anyone seen Mary matlin on any of the shows. She and Tony were dear friends. I know she has to be hurting.
Gosh, I can’t believe how sad I feel about someone I never met. That’s a tribute to Tony’s character.
God have mercy!
Prayers are up!
I am glad though a few of them called others on it even if there motives were not that great.
