Few Refugees Take the Money and Go

You'd face a situation of non-european mass immigration gone out of hand, while you simultaneously dispose of government vaults bulging with money donated by/stolen from humane and well educated/obedient and brainwashed Swedish tax payers.

"Few refugees here are taking advantage of money from the Swedish government to subsidize returns home.

Individual asylum-seekers from Iraq, Afghanistan or Somalia can get more than 3000 dollars, families up to 8000 dollars, if they choose to go back to their homelands.

Swedish Television News says that interest is very low, especially among Afghans and Somalis. Only some 12 percent of those qualified to seek the benefit have applied since the offer was introduced just under a year ago.

The Swedish Justice Ministry says it’s still too early to evaluate the program."

Various international comparisons have revealed that Scandinavians have superior IQ in relation to most other parts of humanity.

Being Scandinavian myself, I sometimes wonder if the evaluations arriving at such conclusions were carried out by the Swedish chef.

We Scandinavians pride ourselves of things like knowing all the capitals of Africa by heart, but what have we actually understood about Africa by displaying such skills in a game any perceptive parrot could outperform us in?

The people who've managed to escape out of Somalia to Europe once belonged to an (economic) upper class in their home country. Today, these individuals no longer do so. There is no way they could establish something like a small, profitable family business of their own as long as they are under the dominance of a competing clan. Sending them $8000 out of the Swedish tax payers pockets a month while in Somalia would only get them robbed and plundered 12 times a year.

If these attempts at bribing immigrants out of a corner of the world that, actually, still IS a quite nice one (despite certain problems connected to Muslim slums were inhabitants refuse to work despite the opportunity of earning what would be viewed as fantasy wages not only in the third world, but even in most of the other Western countries) were more like this;

“Go back to Somalia with $8000 in your pocket or simply get the **** out of our country”...

...some might leave. However, upon being confronted with these two options I guess most of them would probably go underground.

The citizens of Somalia are not Subhumans in general, although Somalia has a long tradition of violence, piracy and crime, but Western politicians who fail to realize their responsibility towards their nations are.

Somalis were a huge problem in NOrway where I lived for 18 years before returning to the states. They have a sense of entitlement which has to do with their culture. You grab all you can because they come from a land where chaos reigns and you just grab for what you can get.
In the states, they dont have the dole, so they have to work. The program you are referring to in Norway was not a big success. The government would pay people to leave, and guess what?? They would take the money and come back.

“If I fly over to Sweden with my wife and say I want to stay will they pay me $8000 to go back?”

- Guess not. But you can borrow my Volvo.

Even if the two of you actually have Somali passports and would agree to become entangled in the webs of Swedish bureaucracy, I guess there are nicer ways of earning $8000.

On the other hand, I could easily see why Scandinavia seems more appealing than places like Baghdad and Mogadishu.

Perhaps the UN as well as Reader's Digest are right in claiming Scandinavia to be one of the most livable corners of the Earth.

Most members of this forum probably would agree to work for Scandinavian wages, although they also would have to endure Scandinavian consumer prices :D Seriously speaking, if you know where to shop - in most cases that would mean Germany - it ain't that bad.. I bought my Volvo V70 in Germany (Frankfurt a.M.) and I also buy a lot of my alcohol there (in stores that are located close to the border between Denmark and Northern Germany), I also love the fact that German discount grocery stores are invading my country. Just like you and your wife, they are most welcome!!

- This is symptomatic behavior regarding Somali people.

Again, I'm not saying ALL Somalis are subhumans, but 90% of them are unable of functioning in an advanced society.

A lot of immigrants from places like Iran and Iraq work hard here in Sweden and abide the law, which is a fact I feel is worthy of recognition, but certain other groups of Muslim immigrants really try their best to prove they can't even function in one of the best functioning societies on Earth.

They have no business here.
