So sad. This has been a very bad few days for me. On Wednesday, I learned my cousin’s son has cancer, and yesterday I had to have my 10-year old dog/best friend put to sleep, and now to wake up to the news about Tony Snow. It’s very upsetting.
Tony was such a wonderful guy, or so he seemed. He was a gift to the Bush administration during his tenure as the press secretary. Such a contrast to the inept Scott McClellan.

Very sad. A wonderful man and one of the few honest, truly intelligent men left in a business that has been wrecked by ideologues.

Many of us used to follow his show on the Tony Snow threads.As a Freeper he would often chime in. You could tell what a class act he was.
Yet another irreplaceable loss, to say he will be missed is trite yet more than true. God be with him.

I’d followed Tony’s career for years and got the priviledge of talking to him several times. We’ve lost a shining light, an incredibly intelligent voice and a heartfelt conservative.
Godspeed, great one. You’ll be missed and missed and missed.

Tony Snow was a good man- you could just tell in the way he spoke and carried himself. He will certainly be missed.
I’ve watched and listened to him for many years and enjoyed his commentary and reporting.
As press secretary, he was unrivaled.
Tony was a good man doing good things when we needed good men doing good things.
I often lack for words when one such as he passes - I did not mean to sound trite.
Not so civilized at Daily Kuss, where The deranged, Bush-hating Left shows its total lack of class while Tony’s widow and three young children mourn:

No, you f’n moron. It was Saddam Hussein and his two sons - and al Qaeda after them, who slaughtered innocent civilians in Iraq (and elsewhere). It was the troops President Bush sent in that finally stopped the slaughter.
Meanwhile, over at du-du, Skinner has decided to censor such posts so that reasonable people who wander in there can’t see how hateful many of his goon-members are. The quotes you posted are probabvly all that remains of their hatefest.
