He was only 53 years old. There may be some wisdom in getting a colonoscopy at 50 after all.

I’m 47. Get a colonoscopy at 40! Its no big deal. I got stage 4 colon cancer at 47. If I would have gotten one at 40 (tony too)our situations may have been very different.
If they catch the polops they snip em out right during the colonoscopy, (colon has no nerves.. you can’t feel a thing). Even if its stage 1 or 2 cancer they can usually cure you. By stage 4 it has already spread usually to the liver, and your chances are greatly reduced. Get the colonoscopy at age 40. Do it at thirty if there is any trace of colon cancer in your family.

Tony got checkups starting early and often. Unfortunately his mother had and died of the same thing when she was quite young. Genetics plays a big part in it.
