This is indeed very, very sad news. Tony Snow was a gentleman who espoused his principles in a way that invited his opponents to give them thought.
I certainly hope he was able to achieve much of the objective of insuring his family’s security before he left. He certainly sacrificed much to serve the Country and I hope the Country proves to be deserving of his service.
I had hoped he'd write a book someday; that's one 'journalist's memoir' I would have taken the time to read.
