Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

I felt compelled to check out the comments on DU concerning Tony Snow's passing. Do yourself a favor and don't go there. You'll end up wanting to hunt most of them down like dogs.
I'm proud to be a conservative, especially when we show class about the opposition's misfortune. Clearly they don't have it.

Years ago, when I first started doing the Sunday Talk show thread, Tony was the host on Fox News Sunday. When he left, we were devastated. But nothing is as sad as this announcement!

The AP just can't help but
take a swing:
With a quick-from-the-lip repartee, broadcaster's good looks and a relentlessly bright outlook if not always a command of the facts he became a popular figure around the country to the delight of his White House bosses.

I remember Tony talking about his kitchen remodel and the troubles the contractor kept running into. I think it took two years to complete.
Rest in Peace Tony. You are definitely qualified to be Gods Spokesman.

Looking through Tony's comments on FR, I found the thread about Tony's review of D'Souza's response to the new atheist tracts. The thread is titled
New Atheists Are Not So Great. In it, Tony made a comment that I think is
particularly poignant:
"Of course atheists feel pangs of emotion. They grieve, they laugh, they cry, they show up to hug and console. But when it comes to having something substantive to say, something that would provide consolation that life has meaning; that one doesnt simply occupy space for a time and then decompose; that there are great overarching principles that give life its depth, joy, texture and purpose; and that those principles arise not from artifice or practice, but from a Creator whose central principle is love when it comes to making these arguments and more, the atheist must remain mute. They still can and do hug and cry. But they cannot argue that life is anything other than an accident and death, the end of everything..."
