Greetings to one and all out in Freeperland, it's time for the Saturday Sortie. It has been kind of a rainy drizzly day here in Kansas City today so I have enjoyed a rare day off. Of course the grass is going to be that much higher tomorrow but that's okay I'll just go a bit slower:-)

We continue with the wonderful pictures from the 2008 Planes of Fame Airshow at Chino that were taken by Bernard Zee. So on with the pics

First up a head on picture of the Collins Foundations B-24. This picture is not from Chino But from a Collins 2007 Tour. So on with the pics...

Next up the P-38 23 Skiddoo poses for the camera.

A pair of P-51s make a pass for the crowd in this picture.

A P-47 Thunderbolt flies by for the fans at the airshow.

A beautifully restored Fairey Firefly makes an appearance at the Chino Airshow this year. There aren't to many of these birds making the rounds now are there. ,p>

To close out tonight's Sortie we have a Heritage Flight pass consisting of a P-38 Lightning, a P-51 Mustang and a F-16 Fighting Falcon.
