The Washington Post ^ | 07/10/2008 | Dan Balz

The Washington Post is committing heresy. Have they forgotten whose side they’re on? Or are they trying to repair their credibility by their comments on what is obvious to the rest of the world?

Among all the things that bother me about Obama, I am most concerned about his opposition to attacking Iraq. Forget about about what has been learned since Operation Iraqi Freedom, the existence of WMDs, etc. etc. AT THAT TIME, March 2003, the overwhelming evidence was that Iraq posed a serious threat to our country, so overwhelming that even all of the Democrats who had a wisp of intelligence also backed our attacking them. But that evidence was not enough to convince Obama. So, if he is elected President, what comfort can we have that he will ever move preemptively to protect US citizens?

His pastor — Jeremiah Wright — is right:

Obama will say anything and do anything to get elected.

“Tell them it’s obvious he hates America and wants us all weaponless and enslaved, while he and his fellow liberals feed off the carcasses of our young.”

I’ve got to admit it’s got a ring to it.

Great stuff, but I don’t know that quoting Rush will convince many liberals.

“Obama’s Ideology Proving Difficult to Pinpoint”?

One each Convoluted Salsa! He serves it with his right hand - you know what he does with his left hand. Possibly a result of the schooling he had in his formative years.

he fears losing in the ratings as soon as he states something factual

At this point his supporters are mesmerized by his voice so that he can say anything at all and they don't hear anything but whatever is already festering inside their own heads. I do not believe O'Bama has read widely or deeply and would not know marxist theory if it mugged him on the bus.

But the beauty of the McCain, his temper and the MSM is that the MSM may drive him into governing more and more conservative. He is going to be really really angry about his years of cultivating them counting for nothing. And as the criticize him more and more both during the campaign and after he is elected, they will push him more and more towards us. [And he is not that far from us on all but a few issues anyway.]
