My God, man, this whole thing was set up. Unbelievably, this all went down in a matter of hours. Jesse's own son condemned him:
Im deeply outraged and disappointed in Reverend Jacksons reckless statements about Senator Barack Obama. His divisive and demeaning comments about the presumptive Democratic nominee and I believe the next president of the United States contradict his inspiring and courageous career.
Instead of tearing others down, Barack Obama wants to build the country up and bring people together so that we can move forward, together as one nation. The remarks like those uttered on Fox by Reverend Jackson do not advance the campaigns cause of building a more perfect Union.

Now I have to agree with other Freepers who saw this as a setup and a fraud to make Barack messiah look good.
He didn't know that both the mike and the camera were on?
Please.
And, that smarmy MSNBC news chick with the knowing look on her face.
Double Please.

I actually think this gets the trick done with Jesse burnishing his black community cred at the same time. He’s standing up for them, while helping Obama lunge toward the middle.

This thing is staged.
Jesse knew what he was doing. This is a setup to make Osama/Obama look like a moderate.
As another poster said, Shakedown Jesse is taking one for the team.
I hope someone here figures out a way to prove that it was setup.

Jackson has always considered himself America’s Most Powerful Black Man.. Seeing all the attention Obama is getting is killing this pompous, self-absorbed a-hole - so he created the whole thing to bring him the spotlight they have been shining on Obama.
This turd created the whole thing for attention. What a disgrace he is.

No way this is a setup. Jackson is an ego-maniac. His hatred for Obama is real.
To: camerakid400
Well, that’s rich. Jesse has made a cottage industry out of “talking down to black people”. Lol. Let’s cut his nuts off too! Just like Julian Bond (NAACP) who went exclusively to private schools and sent his kids to private schools, but is against school vouchers so that the “common folk” can send their kids to private schools. What a complete and utter load of BS.

It’s not even really ‘taking one’ in that he’s defending the black community, thus shoring himself up with one of his constituencies at the same time.

The only set up is FOX News. There will be more vitriol against them for having the mic on and releasing an otherwise ‘off the record’ comment. Watch.

The media has spilled the beans on the Clintons being liars and the Clintons have spilled the beans on the media being biased for Obama.
These are secrets that they are now openly muttering.
Doesn’t matter if there is a microphone hot or not. They are fed up with holding a sh** eating grin for other people.

I agree. I said something similar on another thread. This is a setup. Watch the media in the next week talk about how much Obama has had to overcome to get to where he is, how he couldn’t possibly subscribe to the black supremacy theology of his church if none other than Jesse Jackson is after him. They will show portray him as an exceedingly sympathetic figure and will say that he is exactly the kind of unifier this country needs. This is definitely a setup.
