I remember seeing some video of John Jr. right before he died and when asked the question what the first thing he would do if elected President, he said, “Lower taxes.” Besides his great looks, THAT really got my attention.
Hadn’t heard that. But I could imagine her pitch to Uncle Ted:
“I can’t even think of running for senate in Hillary’s state, look what happened when John-John was thinking that way.”
He kind of had me dazzled, too, but I’d like to think I’d stick with my principles no matter what. If his wife had that problem, we could have another Joan, only drugs, possibly, and for her (Joan) I feel pity (she wouldn’t like that) because I believe her husband didn’t help matters one bit. She started out with great promise and was in over her head.
