You are making several assumptions.

#1 We don’t know that the sneak-peeks were done by clinton operatives, (though that is the ways to bet)

#2 We can’t assume that the Hildabeast would immediately leak anything. (she’s held the data in the purloined FBI files over peoples heads for a looooong time, and gotten more milage and favors than instantly releasing them would have ever garnered)

#3 You don’t know that the looks weren’t really Obama operatives’ attempts to alter the files

#4 You don’t know that the attempt weren’t republican fishing expeditions.

#5 You don’t know if the unauthorized access attempts got in far enough to uncover anything juicy.

#6 And you keep stubbornly insisting that an overworked GS-0.5 clerk would instantly detect a pretty good forgery, or even a genuine BC based on incorrect data supplied to the county clerk, and magically and unfailingly get the accurate place of birth on a passport.

Given that I know Darling Daughter’s BC does not accurately reflect the circumstances of her birth - by court order -, and given that I just went through considerable effort to correct my SS records (they had my middle name wrong, my city of birth as a non-existent location, my mom’s name wrong, etc.) I don’t have quite the blind, unreasoning, robotic, automatic and uncritical acceptance of anything on a government form as Absolute Truth that you do.

Had there been a bombshell in those passport records, it *would* have leaked out somehow. The Clinton Machine leaves nothing to chance.

Your comment remains my basic position on the general matter of Obama's eligibility for the presidency. There is, however, some time remaining for the one organization with the assets and ruthlessness to blow the lid off of the "natural born" can. As I stated four days ago on this thread...If Obama receives the Rat nomination, we can all be confident there is nothing to this. In the meantime, I'll be watching the Hillary camp for any August surprises.

Thanks, but all meaningless. The point I made was the fact HI is not investigating a fraud. Their willingness to discuss it without raising alarm bells means they KNOW they provided a copy to Obama.

This is the biggest joke I have ever seen. There were multiple reasons why the scan was a solid image of a real BC. The tell tales of the seal, signature area (which match the size and shape of other HI BCs) and the data stamp all bleeding through from the back show it to be a authentic scan.

Finally, Opendna’s ‘blank original’ is of much lower resolution - as those nut cases showed on their websites. You CANNOT recover lost resolution from jpeg images. There is no way to create the Kos image from the Opendna file - end of story.

There are ways for Opendna to lose the faint telltales though - which means this progression only goes one way, from the Kos/BHO scans to the Opendna mockup.

Sorry, but this myth has been busted. If you can’t believe me and Charles Johnson on technical matters, then it is like some layman telling you how to do law.

Not necessarily. I found this at the HuffingtonPost. Not sure how much credence to put in it, but if true they wouldn't leak it.

Obama's dad was in the US on a student visa. He completed his studies and returned home.

Yesterday Obama was giving a speech about how illegal aliens are just like his Dad and came here for the same reason.

Would he waste the bandwidth when a smaller file would suffice? Probably not.

Would he deliberately post a low rez image to mislead the curious? Unlikely. That would require thinking he could get caught...

Check on when Japan was no longer under restrictions on aircraft it could own. Should be in the treaty ending the occupation. As I recall Japan didn’t move into Hawaii or the Aleutian routes until the 747s were available, and that’s the 1970s.

I think we can assume that much. She was in ‘kitchen-sink mode’ from mid-Feb to mid-May. If she had it, she would have used it. Ergo, she didn’t. She’s not going to wait for Obama to be the nominee and *then* come in.

The specific point I was making that if his passport
had a different birthplace, it would have come out.
Given your caveats, it is *possible* that a bombshell
could still be in there and not leaked. But IMHO still
not *likely*.

Nothing was found, ergo, high probability that nothing was there worth reporting.

Others keep stubbornly insisting that there is something to forge, when there is no ‘there’ there. I am reasonably (but not 100% proven) convinced that the Obama birth cert. is not a forgery; that campaign is not so stupid as to stand behind an internet fake, and see comments of AJStrata, and LGF (who helped bust the 2004 forged CBS draft memo docs).

If its not a fake, then there really is an official record of Obama’s birth in Honolulu in Aug 1961.

I don’t have to insist that all Govt records are perfect,
but I am sure that 99.9% of passport ‘place of birth’ records are accurate, and I am saying that the preponderance of evidence
falls on Obama’s birth record on his passport being accurate as well with 99.9% probability, and that with 99.9% probability his passports says “place of birth: Honolulu, Hawaii”.

The fact about the marriage having occurred in Maui came from that Time Magazine post. If the certificate is not filed, you might believe it didn't happen there.

Note which you don't recite but I assume you noticed, the fact (Maui) is recited as having come from the Complaint for the divorce. She is sitting there in the law office and the lawyer says well we have to plead the fact on the marriage and she thinks well, I can't say Honolulu cause I know it wasn't there; Maui is the wild west, maybe nobody will know.

I guess the reason for looking for the divorce file was to find out where he plead they were married so if we are willing to take Time's word for it, we can abandon that--too much to hope for that she would have said Mombasa. - David

I'm in even more trouble. One of my roommates was an authentic African revolutionary, journalist and, it turns out, intellectual. They had a lot of revolutionaries and journalists, but only 10 intellectuals. Three others attended the same school. By about 1970 three of the 10 African intellectuals on Earth had been murdered "back home" in political strife. Only the "revolutionary/journalist" was still around, and he has since disappeared.

I know he didn't return "home" but kind of kept to Europe, Russia and South Africa because, as he would tell you any time, those places were much safer than "home".

Odds are good my roommate knew Barak Obama Sr., and I am almost certain I met Stanley Ann in Northern Virginia (circa 1973?)at a party held by an Indonesian fellow who worked for the USIA at the time.

I'm pretty confident all the folks I was meeting were pretty darned conservative, or were/had been CIA field personnel of very conservative leanings, which makes me wonder quite a lot about what Stanley Ann was doing.
