Iranian FM: Syria kept updated on Tehran’s nuclear program

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki confirmed that some of his meeting with Syrian officials in Damascus revolved around Tehran’s nuclear program, The Iranian news agency IRNA reported Sunday.

Ahmadinejad: Meetings on nuclear program a step in right direction

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that any meeting between the West and Iran regarding the latter’s uranium enrichment program is “a step in the right direction,” the Iranian news agency Fars reported Sunday.
