This is my very favorite movie. I loved that so. Watch it every time it comes on TV.
There were parts of the movie where I wept like a baby.
Donald Crisp deserved the Oscar he won for his role as Mr Morgan.
The book is much darker, showing the gradual disinagration of the village.
