I join in urgent prayer for our her husband and for her!
God bless this FReeper and her husband and may all go well if he needs surgery. I pray for a quick and full recovery and strength and peace for the family.
Most Merciful Heavenly Father, we come before the Throne of Grace, acknowledging that there is no other God like unto thee ... that there is no other who proclaims to have known us from the foundation of the world ... who knows our rising up and our sitting down ... who knows even the very number of hairs on our head. It is You, O Lord, who holds the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. Such is Your Word, O God, and in such is our faith.
We come to You, Creator God, in prayer and petition for a beloved husband who is in need of Your healing touch. Stand watch over him as his medical team ministers to his every need. Grant them wisdom and flawless skill in all that they do ... guide them into restoring him to the fullness of health. As once You knit him in his mother’s womb, knit him again, that he might rise up and tell of Your mighty works. Father, we seek Your matchless Grace and Mercy, and thank You that Your heart is ever attuned to Your children’s needs. Blessed be Your Name, both now and forevermore, Amen ...
And may it be, Heavenly Father, that his anxious wife would find comfort and encouragement in this Healing Confession, so tenderly written by a distraught husband for his beloved wife. Thank You that he continued to seek Your healing unto the time when she was completely restored to health. So may it be with this husband and wife, Sovereign God ... so may it be with them.
HEALING CONFESSION
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Living Word. You said that Your Word is Life to those who find it and medicine to all their flesh. Today, by my confession, I apply Your Word to our body by giving voice to it. You said in Psalm 139:14 that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that Your works are marvelous. I declare that You made us and we are a marvelous creation.
I speak to sickness and disease today and proclaim that according to Philippians 2:10 that they must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every name in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth bows its knee to Jesus’ name.
I speak to our body today and declare that we have authority over it. I command it to receive the Word of God. Matthew 8:17 proclaims that Jesus bore our sickness and took our infirmities. Heavenly Father, I thank you that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and makes alive our mortal body.
I speak to our immune system and command it to line up with the Word of God. Our immune system will destroy sickness and disease in our body and perform its job, for this is what You created it to do. I thank you, Father, that every cell in our body responds to Your Word. Your Word permeates our body from the top of our head to the bottom of our feet. I confess that the Word of God is being made flesh in us.
Psalm 103:3 declares that You, Father, forgave all our iniquities and healed all our diseases. Father, that is Your confession and I make it my confession, also. We don’t judge by the sight of our eyes; we judge by Your Living Word. It is Your Word that lives in us and brings health and healing to every part of our body. Heavenly Father, I rejoice at Your promise of divine health. You said it and I believe it. Today I declare that we will see Your promise of healing manifest in our body.
Healing is ours because Jesus paid the price two thousand years ago. God so loved us that He sent His Son to die on the cross so that we could experience life on God’s terms. His abundant life is manifesting in us. Make us whole ~ body, soul, and spirit. Amen ...
Psalm 118:17-18 ~ “I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me sorely, but he has not given me over to death.”
Prayers respectfully offered.
