I just renewed our NRA subscriptions. They are fighting crap like this and could use our help. Afterall they are fighting for US.
Bet those asshats at the Chicago Tribune wouldn’t like it much if someone proposed repealing the First Amendment...not that repealing it matters, as the Bill of Rights doesn’t confer rights, it merely enumerates them.
Well, gosh ...the Chicago Trbune ..now the definer of our constitutional Rights. I feel so much more secure knowing that this rag of a paper going out of business can not even keep itself afloat in a city that NEEDS a troop surge is telling us What the constitution means. HA!

I’d prefer we repeal that Commie rag some call the Chicago Tribune. Introducing Communism into a country is tough when the populace is armed.
Actually I admire the Tribune for wanting to play by the rules. If they feel that the right to keep and bear arms is obsolete, then, by all means, delete it from the Constitution. Obviously, this will be a difficult process (to say the least), but that is our system and I will certainly support the results, either way.

This is absolutely astonishing. While the US Constitution outlines provisions for its amendment, we should tread very lightly on the ground around repeal of ANY rights granted by this timeless document.
The second amendment recognized an individual right; it has always recognized that individual right.
Just because the gun-grabbers want to extend their control to the rest of us, and SCOTUS has hammered them, they want to immediately jump to amending the US Constitution?

The right to bear arms is an unalienable right. Repealing the second amendement would not change the fact that it is a right belonging to the people that is inviolate.
The right to bear arms is necessary to the security of a free people. Even if there never was a second amendment, it would still be an unalienable right.
We need a national boycott of the Tribune, its parent company, and all its holdings. This is anti-American, traitorous tripe.

SCOTUS has been making a joke of the Constitution at least since Roe v. Wade. It's a dead letter, didn't even make 200 years intact.
Rather than enumerating powers and describing branched of government and their responsibilities, it's nothing more than a platform the liberals use for the semantic contortions they wrap their policies around.
Everyone who is eligible should buy a gun and learn how to use it. This will send a clear message to the Democrats, socialists, and other criminals.
