Hey, the prior statement was about poor character judgement calls.

Bush made a piss poor character judgement call on Putin. Fact.

So the statement stands, Troll.

Character: McCain endured torture instead of taking an early release over other POW’s acptured before him.
Obama, sat on the bench of his HS basketball team and argued with his coach, who won the state championship.
Remember Obama ALWAYS knew better than his elders.

Can't find demographics of those called.

"Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,625 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted June 15-19, 2008. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.

For results based on the 781 national adults in the Form A half sample and the 844 national adults in the Form B half sample, the maximum margins of error are ±4 percentage points.

Interviews are conducted with respondents on land-line telephones (for respondents with a land-line telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell-phone only).

In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

Boy these polls are depressing.

That's the idea.

What's more depressing is the # of people on our side (including some radio talk show hosts, who'll be out of a job once the Fairness Doctrine is reimposed) that believe them.

God forgive us. I really thought we would hit the 300 year mark resembling closely what our forefathers envisioned. We are not going to make it. Sorry, Ben, we couldnt keep it..

This is just too much.

Obambi is a cipher! Who knows what he stands for?

What is his character? He hasn’t cast votes other than “present” or taken a stand on things that don’t matter.

If this unqualified non-entity gets into office, I say let the people take what happens and live with it.

It isn’t going to be pretty.

It’s 1996 all over again, except it’ll be a BLOWOUT this time, unless McCain shows he WANTS to win... So far, he hasn’t

How many of these polls do you have to see before you realize that McCain’s really in trouble, and the polls aren’t all lying?

I posted this on another thread...

You'll never achieve a plurality based on "voting against the other guy"... Never... You may have a plurality if you count those staying on their couch, but it takes some effort to go out to the polls and actually vote...

Hate of one person or his policies can get you some votes, but you need to believe in your candidate to energize enough of them to go to the polls...

Case in point... Rick Lazio... There were plenty of folks who despised Hillary when she first ran... Almost no one voted for Rick Lazio- the votes he got were anti-Hillary or anti-Dem...

You need a mix of enthusiasm for your candidate AND disdain for the opposition to achieve a plurality of the vote, IMHO.

So... folks here will cling to the daily Gallup poll that shows they're exactly tied at 45% in national polling, but discount the same polling outfit when they show these results, just cause it doesn't suit our taste?

It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.

Until Bush reverses course and starts acting like a conservative, I’ll critisize him, yes. Until them, you can be the big-gov fiscal-liberal moderate Bush apologist.

Please let's not fool ourselves here....McPAIN is in very serious trouble AT THIS POINT! I remember turning a blind eye when the polls were pointing out how much the Republicans in both houses were in trouble. We keep saying these polls were out right lies, well we lost both house majorities. Yes take these polls with a grain of salt, but let's not blind ourselves to the truth. McCain lacks charm and he has alienated the majority of his party. The only miracle McVain has will be IF he can clean OsAMA’s clock in the debates or OsAMA make a HUGE gaffe at one of the debates. IF McPUFF fails, his goose is cooked and ours....:( WE NEED A MIRACLE!

Most Americans are idiots when it comes to judging character.

And you know better? You should be the one to judge for us all? Why are we fighting to spread democracy around the world if, in your opinion, the people are just idiots? We should just have a ruling class (one that includes you, of course) make all the judgments for us.
