DARLENE L. BRENNAN CARIBOU – Darlene L. Brennan, 65, passed away Friday June 6, 2008 at a Caribou hospital. She was born August 6, 1942 in Thomas, West Virginia the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Watring) Nutter. Darlene served in the U.S. Military and then as a civilian worked as a travel agent. She is survived by a daughter Robbin Persing and her husband Henry L. Persing of Madison, Alabama, as well as a grandson Brennan Persing. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Very very sad.

Darlene believed in and fought for freedom her whole life, and gave her friendship and support to others who did. Her contributions will be missed and remembered.

My Lord. I am surprised. She was a fellow Mainer and a wonderful women. We had been on the board for years. She lost her spouse a few years ago. I remember.

This is very sad news. As little as we get to know others online, I always liked SheLion. She was fast to thank people, pray for people and she seemed to be a friend to all.

God Bless Darlene, her friends and family.

May she rest in God's Eternal Love and Peace. Something tells me though that she's going to be busy chatting with the Angels and whatever else God Holds for her.

She was born 2 days after my mother in 1942...great Freeper and I know she lost her husband who was a fellow Freeper a few years ago. She went home to God and to him...RIP SheLion.

Feisty was just a starting point! So sorry to hear she’s passed. I enjoyed reading her educational posts about smokers’ rights and such. Prayers, to her family and all who loved her.
