I know they’re licensed. I worked in nuclear power for 25 years (Harris). I didn’t know there was any limit in the number of licenses granted. All you gotta do is fill out the paperwork (or so I thought). I know it takes a couple of years to do this, so is McCain planning to cut the number of pages in the application?

They’ll still have to do all the preliminary safety analysis reports, so I don’t understand what the meat is to the McCain plan.

By the way, it’s interesting to note the changes that happened in plants as a result of TMI.

The Harris Plant Preliminary Safety Analysis Report was issued pre-TMI. The plant started up 8 years Post-TMI, so the Final Safety Analysis Report is waaaay different.
