I disagree that this is a waste of time. For one thing, it's very important to think about the type of person---meaning the type of political and world views those persons hold---that will serve in the respective administrations.

Too many people view voting as simply giving their approval to one candidate or not. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Of course these particular individuals may not serve in a McCain administration. But people more like them than not WILL. That's another legitimate reason for voting AGAINST Obambi.

"Focusing one's talents and energy on ways to win the campaign," as you stated your concern, includes pointing out the likely consequences of not voting for the Republican nominee.

We call all say who we want in his cabinet. So what. Wouldn’t it be better to write McCain directly and tell him who we think would be good and why? How about FR agreeing on an ALL STAR conservative lineup and posting that?
