Friend. New Direction Congress DID pass innovative energy legislation - they banned light bulbs. You know, those inexpensive ones that poor children can do their homework by?

“Americans are suffering under the Pelosi - Reid -Democrats policies that were written by A bunch of MARXISTS: $4 a gallon gasoline; $134 per barrel oil; increased reliance on foreign sources of energy and on hydrocarbons that contribute to climate change.

Had to fix Nacy's statement to make it TRUTHFUL.

The New Direction Congress has already passed innovative energy legislation

You did? Then why the frak does it cost me almost twice as much to fuel up now then it did when you jokers got voted in?

That is the innovative energy legislation. Didn't you know it?

The DNC's latest chatting points, use them or lose them are full of holes and they know it.

They probably have a ten lb.box of paper full of other BS talking points as well that they will use when this one falls by the wayside.

But, if we are vigilant we can win this one since no one even enviro wackos like chunking out $4.00 per gallon for gas when we are sitting on the world's biggest oil reserves and are fast becoming the laughing stock of the oil world.

I called Pelosi’s DC office (202-225-3121 Capitol Switchboard; ask for the Moron of your choice) today at 9:25 a.m. PST. Her staffer that answered the telephone said, “hello” and when I said I was calling to discuss the oil crisis, he immediately pushed me into an automated comment line. Her highness Pelosi “DOES NOT” want to hear from us. I urge everyone to call their elected moron tomorrow to offer your comments on the Congress creating this crisis. My comments were “Drill Here; Drill Now; this crisis was created by the US Congress and the American people know it.”

Please flood their offices with calls and emails. IMO, they are trying to destroy America and make us their subjects. We will be left with no freedom, no security, and no futures. It’s that serious, IMO.

“Americans use one quarter of the world’s oil consumption every day and we possess less than 2 percent of the world’s supply. We cannot drill our way to energy independence.

Almost every word of that sentence is wrong. What a moron.

Pelosi thinks she’s Royalty and we are her peons/serfs to be owned and dictated to. If allowed and not voted out of office, the Congress will turn America into a dictatorship; no doubt in my mind whatsoever!

The utter contempt this woman (and her cronies in the Democratic Party) are showing for the American people is simply breathtaking.

But such contempt for the average American is really not too surprizing when one considers that Pelosi and a large number of the Democrats are (1) in the back pockets of Big Green (the environmental lobby), and (2) people who really detest the fact that the United States of America is a land of abundance and wealth. They really -- really! -- want the United States to be no better off than, say, India or Nigeria.

They can't win on this issue and will change the venue given even half a chance.

We have to keep their noses to the grindstone on this and we can kick their ass.

The way to do it is to propose doing everything from oil shale, to anwar, windmills, bio- diesel, to solar. Format it like that and they will have no comeback and will look like the fools that they are.

watch for the DBM to totally ignore this as much as they can. It will be up to us to keep it in the news.

Uh...Nancy...gas was $2.45 when you took control and it seems a tad higher than that now. Also, you didn't "award" those leases, they were bought and paid for and most of them were dry holes.

Uh...Nancy...that 2% figure is because you and your silly colleagues won't allow us to increase the supply. I really don't care if it only means one more barrel of domestic oil. That's one more barrel than you idiots are allowing us to find. You'd rather give our money to the Saudis...of which 19 of the 21 9/11 terrorists call home?

Uh...Nancy...I'm not asking to drill to energy independence...I'm asking for some short run relief from the high energy prices you brought on us. If you would just harness that ego of yours and do something for the American people instead of your personal agenda, we'd sure appreciate it. For example, if you would just announce that you were opening up ANWR, OCS, and all federal lands to exploration, the price of distillate fuels would drop like a stone. But you won't do this, will you? You're afraid GW might get the credit. Screw the American people...it's all about you, isn't it, you ego maniac. You're pathetic!

Your New Direction Congress has done absolutely NOTHING to help the US people. All you've done is drive the price of gas up by $1.50/gallon under your direction. So please, whatever you think you're doing...stop. You're policies are killing us!

The leases are not permits.
To get to the permit stage on areas that are not nearly as desirable as the Gulf etc. takes forever with rat enviro wacko lawyers just dying for billable hours nipping at big oils ankles all the way.

In 2006 you and the Democrats ran on reducing our price at the pump. Since you took over, the price per gallon has all most doubled.

True! And, if our President's gonads were not in a lock box back in Texas, he would have hammered Pelosi and the DemoRats and made a point of repeating word for word on just this point instead of the half-assed, timid, statement he made today.

First he goes hat in hand (twice) to beg his hand-holding-ass-kissing, buds the Sauds and now, he proposes a lifting on the offshore drilling moratorium IF, Congress will "puleeze" pass such legislation.

Why not act and repeal those Executive Orders and let the chips fall where they may instead of waiting on Congress to act--which we all know "ain't gonna happen." Sheesh. A Leader, someone who take the gloves off, what we conservatives would not give for such a person.

You gotta remember embracing energy security can't happen without embracing capitalism. The rats are totally invested in Socialism/Marxism. So, they don't want energy security or capitalism. It's like throwing holy water on them to even mention it.

Analyze everything they have done historically to subvert our country from being energy secure which we could have done quite easily, and you come up with a bent on Socialism/Marxism.

With some of the more radicals like piglosi, waters and the rest communism is more like it. It's what they seek and will do most anything including destroying the country to see their goals achieved.
