LOL! Great post.

I have two teens in high school (now, 11th and 12th grades, public high school) and two in Catholic (5th and 7th).

We’ve been doing the whole college thing lately for the senior, so now we’re focused on getting through all that ;) In the process of planning a *college visit* for July and trying to make a mini vacation out of it. Kid’s first choice is Penn State (my husband and I are alums) so trying to make a vacation out of the visit this summer.

I remember the college experience to be quite exciting, especially when they raised tuition and fees 26% in the middle of the summer before his last year after all the financial aid paperwork had already been processed. Not the kind of excitement I was looking for. But we survived that one and will survive the next one. Best of luck to you and your kids. Penn State is a great school! (I hope my son the Sooner doesn’t see that! ;-) )
