How am I supposed to vote for this idiot? He's not making it easy.

You're right. The only reason is because this is much, much worse:

I'm also not 100% convinced that speculators don't account for at least some of the oil price spike. The financials who are losing their shirts in the bad debt crunch have to have someplace to park their money to make some quick profits.

Were it not for past obstruction to drilling and refining in the U.S. by libs/dems, and the likelihood of that obstruction continuing under the Marxist Obama or the Imbecile McCain, speculation would start going in the opposite direction: increasing supply would lead to speculation that the value of the commodity would DECREASE In the future. As it is now, the value of oil can only continue to go up, since demand is increasing but supply, particularly in and because of, the U.S., is going nowhere but down.

Unless McCain gets hit by a bus and we get an actual conservative, or even someone with one-tenth of a functioning brain cell in his or her head running in opposition to BHO, we are screwed.

I think this is one time when the dems can claim that their candidate is smarter than the Republican candidate, and they're right. McCain is a moron of incomprehensible magnitude.
