What a complete moron this woman. This statement I think will get an email pointing out the obvious roadblock. I thought she had a plan since the whole blood for oil scheme failed. RRR.

This loon of the left continues to show her STUPIDITY AND IGNORANCE of the issue of energy. While the liberals continue to restrict America’s ability to provide for energy independence, our government in total shows its continued delibate suppression of a comprehensive energy policy that would greatly reduce our dependence on foreign oil, to produce much of our own from our own territory. Include the suppression of clean, affordable nuclear electric power as well. Why do Americans TOLERATE this suicidal politcal crap?

Windfall profits taxes would do NOTHING to lower gas prices. It would result in shortages as the oil companies peddle their product OUTSIDE the United States where their profits aren't under attack by the government.
The only "fix" for high prices is to increase the supply of oil...preferably from domestic sources that aren't already running full tilt to try to keep up with current demand. The demand side of the equation is doing nothing but going up. The "renewable" BS is unreliable and thus far a serious detriment to our food prices and supplies.

Drill and veto is all that is going to bring the price of oil down, Nancy.

So, Anncy lame brain Pelosi, tell me exactly how wanting to drill for more oil here would cause OPEC to continue
raising prices?
In fact, it would have the exact opposite effect. If they thought we were seriously going to do a lot of drilling and refining (things most GOP congressional members want) then they would immediatley drastically lower their prices to try and get below that so our companies would view it as economically unfeasable.
No, Nacny, it is you and your cohorts and your Obamanation candidate who are enacting and pushing policies that keep the price high, along with your rabid environmental lobby which is no more concerned about true conservation thn Obama's Black Liberation Theology is concerned about true Christianity.
Fat is, your ilk and Barack Hussein Obama are the apex of the hate-America, domestic enemy in this country. His election as president would be the greatest coup any enemy has ever scored against this country and could easily lead to the worst, horrific disaster in our nation's history.

“They have again adopted President Bushs drill and veto policy”
But you wont let us drill!!! The veto works quite nicely, could you imagine how well the drilling would work???
I have HOPE!!!

‘Senate Republicans Blocking Legislation to Lower Gas Prices’
Well, it's her website so I guess she can propagandize on it. If people actually read this bill any fool can surmise that it would greatly increase our prices. But then again when do the Dems ever tell the truth about what they are doing? Using ANY means (lie, cheat, steal) necessary to get what they eventually want for our nation. Marxism.

Another one of Pelosi’s empty legislation to make all her supporters feel like she is really on top of things and trying to get things done.
WANT TO IMPRESS US ALL PELOSI?
WE WANT DRILLING, REFINERIES BUILT AND NUCLEAR ENERGY!
Try and get that passed the environmental terrorists who hold all the cards for you and your band of mental midgets.
You do nothing but get in the way of CAPITOLISM FOR THE MIDDLECLASS, BUT SO CONVEINIENTLY PRACTICE IT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS IN YOUR PERSONEL LIFE LIKE ALL GOOD LIBERALS DO, WHILE YOU PUT A STRANGLEHOLD ON CORPORATIONS AND DENY THE MIDDLE CLASS TAX RELIEF. VOTE THESE IDIOTS OUT NOW!

I wish the dumb repubs would wake up.
The dims keep talking about “failed policies of the past”
Theirs is the failed policy of the past.
Until the dims and the tree huggers took over, there was plenty of oil, plenty of energy, gas prices we could afford.
Then came the tree huggers and the micro managers.
After 30 years of their meddling with the free market system, we have the results in today's energy crisis.
The repubs need to rub in in over and over that the failed policies of the past are: Attempts to prevent drilling in areas they consider to be unsuitable for drilling, rule making that make it too difficult to build new refineries, laws or rule making that prevent the use of high sulfur diesel for any purpose, rule making that requires special gasoline blends for certain areas of the country, etc.
They are the failure that needs to be abandoned.
But the pubs are too gutless to hit them head on.
