Thanks for all the comments! I don't do a lot of second guessing, but I've never been in this situation with foreigners on US soil.

All I can say is that I hope all Americans will wake up and start standing up for what is right and good in our country and not let the Euro, Asian, Middle Easterners mock our contry anywhere without a fight or argument.

My situation was on foreign soil: KLM Hopper flight from Amsterdam to Duesseldorf, trying to get into my seat, I said excuse me to this European man, he said: are you American and I said yes, settled into my seat reading time magazine, article on Bush and he said: Your President is a Cowboy and I do not like him. He was expecting me to be in perfect socialist unison and agree with him and I said to his shocked face: that I liked the President, and in my New York accent: What's your problem? He was hesitant, and I noticed a trace German accent from the beginning, so I asked what are you? He replied: I am German, so I said: Let's talk about someone that you do know and he said who? I said Adolf Hitler, that's who. To which he replied: I do not want to talk about him, so I waived my finger at him and two snaps and said: before you pass judgement on my President, check your own house!!!!!! Needless to say, I shut him up for the rest of the flight./Just Asking - seoul62........
