About time. I'm curious what Obambi's reaction will be when the Israelis get serious with Hamas. I expect he'll thow Israel under the bus, with a "this isn't the Israel I knew" press release.

If Israel starts to get tough with Hamas, then Obama can use this as an excuse to begin calling for the withdrawal of support for Israel (”thrown under the bus”). I suspect he’s waiting for just that opportunity.

Olmert, Barak, and their ilk are such candyasses. If any of them had a pair, they'd send the IDF in to plow Gaza under like an old cornfield, then ask the Left Bank, Damascus, and Tehran, "OK, who wants to 'negotiate' next?"

According to the new strategy, the IDF will not reoccupy the Gaza Strip but will instead initiate an incursion to make Hamas "pay a price," and afterward agree to a cease-fire. That's about as dumb Obama thinking he could talk Ahmadidjab out of hating the Great Satan and trying coax that 13th Imam from his well by bringing on Armageddon. The only way to be rid of attacks from Hamas, is to kill Hamas, not just make it pay a price. Otherwise it will be back, sooner rather than later.
