Of course, one could just not use the camera! And even if you do, most phones have PC connections and software that allows you download or upload images, without any airtime involved.

And even if you do, most phones have PC connections and software that allows you download or upload images, without any airtime involved.The last "free" cell phone I had was purposefully crippled to not allow photos to be transferred off the phone except through the "media messaging" which was 25 cents a pop. The USB cables and software for other phones were $100, so I might as well just get a $100 phone that isn't crippled.
