And ONLY Fox News carried McCain's speech... CNN and MSNBC were too busy gleefully celebrating Obama the 'RAT Candidate for President.
Karl Rove (on FNC) looked rather sick after McCain's speech... he said it was "pretty bad".
McCain and his campaign had better get their act together fast, or our side is gonna be in BIG trouble come November... :-(
It was such a dreadful appearance by McCain, I couldn’t think about it. He looked botoxed and befuddled and phony. No way can he win unless we get a tape of Obama looking at Mecca with a bloody sword.
McCain SUCKED - is this our man? He could barely get the words out. PRETTY SAD.
It was a terribly delivered speech.
egads........once again the pubbies are pushing an old man......Bob Dole (God bless him) redux.
McCain has aged rapidly the past couple of years. Sorry, he’s not going to get any better, and may get considerably worse in his public appearances.
:-} That horse has left the barn my friend. There are no good scenarios that I can come up with except retiring from politics and refreshing my cache. (g)
I only heard it. Dreadful and uninspiring.
See my comment 165 where I referenced the same two networks breaking in. Frankly once they did interrupt McCain I was happy to be rid of him. Hopefully he will do better in a one on one debate and should keep it to only that. Horrible speaker.
Hillary Clinton never congratulated Obama on winning but how he ran his campaign. The arrogance should be enough to make the half of 18 million who voted for her realize it's Hillary before party.
He did a terrible job! And he’s had all of this time out of the limelight to work on such a speech. And someone needs to tell him to stop with the full toothed phony grin.
He is capable of doing better. Some weeks ago, I watched him give a speech — can’t remember where — and he looked good and his delivery was good.
Obama just has it all over him in the charisma department. It really doesn’t matter what Obummer says; he just sounds so darned good. I keep hearing people say that McCain’s going to really put it to BHO in the debates, but how many people really watch the debates. Yes, most FReepers will, but we are political junkies. And most voters are not.
