I’m not trying to convince anyone to ‘not’ vote for McCain, or to for ‘for’ anyone else.
The point I want to stress is that McCain is basically a moderate Democrat, and can’t be trusted to forward conservative positions of any kind. Your trust and faith in this man is unfounded, given his actual performance over the last ten years or so.
You think “he’ll keep this country safe.” Sorry to break it to you, but he wants to close Gitmo and bring all of the detained terrorists to Ft. Leavenworth, which puts them on US soil and give them access (and rights) to US courts. How is that keeping the country safe, when that will surely result in many of these animals getting off on technicalities. You want to see them turn around and become the next 9/11 hijack crew?
For myself, I don’t consider that I have a real choice, therefore McCain does not get my vote. Neither does Obama, or even a 3rd party candidate. My feeling is that we are going to have the fight of our lives on our hands, no matter who is elected this November.
And as far as McCain being Pro-life, do you really think that the Democrat congress is going to send him any legislation that will allow him to affect that issue?
Is yours a paid position or a volunteer job? Relative noob protesting a little too much. Your right though, I don’t like McCain much either, therefore I am going to support the big eared, red, Chicago machine thug with the crazy old lady. It’s the least I can do for you.
Staying home and setting on my vote would be a vote for the pro-death to babies racist Obama who has stated his plans to trash our security measures.
