Tony Snow...
If you are out there, then you know ..that its sometimes in suffering that we draw closest to our Lord. I’m sure you are at peace and are ready for whatever direction the Lord has for you. I’m sure everyone is hoping that you pull through, and thats natural, but if you don’t, I’m confident that God has a purpose for what you are going through and for calling you home early. We don’t really know exactly what its going to be like to crossover, but I’m sure its just a continuation of the Great Adventure that he has for us. So if His will is for you to stay and your situation to continue to draw others to Him , or if he urgently wants your services in the great beyond, it’s all in His will.
I’m in the same boat as you. Just diagnosed with Colon Cancer with Liver mets in March. Already seen the many blessings that flow. Already experiencing the flow of love and good will in others around me. Its really harder in many ways on our loved ones then it is on us, and I’m sure you already know that.
Anyway...God Bless you and your family and those going through this with you. I’ll pray for your loved ones..you pray for mine, that God will work His will for them through this.
God Bless
You have a most wonderful attitude about your diagnosis, not easily arrived at I’m sure. God bless you and the Peace of the Lord be with you.
Prayers for you too FRiend!
Prayers for you also.
Both of you are in my prayers. I too know first hand how a cancer diagnosis (carcinoid of the small bowel with mets to the liver) can bring one closer to God and their loved ones. I also know that God in His mercy can and does heal, both physically and spiritually. I am in remission, and I credit the many prayers of righteous people.
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16
What a beautiful post, thank you so much for sharing your faith and outlook with the forum.
I will keep you in my prayers Schwarzeneger and may God bless you.
Thank you, Schwarzeneger for the heartwarming post. I am praying that you will beat the cancer.
Cheers,
sl
Will specially keep you in my prayers, Schwarzeneger! Just as I do for Tony, JimRob and all my dear FReeper FRiends.
God bless!
You have a wonderful attitude, and your focus on our Gracious Lord is inspiring. You have been added to my prayer list.
Good thoughts and prayers coming your way from San Francisco! As I mentioned in a post to Tony, my daughter’s mother in law, Lucy, has a similar diagnosis, and is not letting it get her down! She still takes care of her husband who suffered a dibilitating stroke a few years ago, and amazes us with her positive attitude and grace! You, as well as Lucy and Tony, are an inspiration. Please know that you have many FRiends!
Prayers for your recovery. God Bless.
God Bless you both, and I hope you are around for a LOOOONG time, because we need you to keep fighting the good fight down here, but I’m sure God is in charge, and has a plan for all of us if we just keep the faith, and don’t let the evil ones get us down.
I love FReepers.
They are the wisest of people.
May God bless you, “Schwartzeneger” and Tony.
