ASHLAND, Ohio (AP) - Former White House press secretary Tony Snow, diagnosed with cancer three years ago, canceled a speaking appearance at Ohio's Ashland University because of an unspecified illness, the university announced Wednesday.

Great hearing form you, save. How is life in the big Apple? Hope you soon will be back in small town America. It is the best kept secret in the world that small towns are where it is at. Big cities are not what they are cracked up to be unless, of course, it is crack that you seek! Great news that Tony has checked in with a positive update. There was a fear that he had gone over to the dark side with Scott McClellan and was writing a tell all book about Pres. Bush. Of course, there is no there there to write about. Turns out, according to rumor, Tony was actually trying out for "Dancing with the Press Secretaries" but didn't make the final cut. 8)

Is it really Tony’s birthday this weekend? Gee whiz..that’s plenty cool.
Lots of babies born in June. My sister’s birthday is June 3rd, and her son’s birthday is June 26th. I won’t inflict my singing again on Tony, now that I know it’s his birthday, but I do wish him a wonderful birthday on the 1st, sans song. I just aged a year myself in May, like a vintage wine. Most of my family were born in Spring. We are stacked like airplanes. Hard to keep track of the dates, one right after the other. I read somewhere that more babies are born in Spring than at any other time of the year, as they have the best chance of survival if born when the weather is getting warmer. Another example of the positives of global warming, LOL.

The house looks great and I am very glad that I did not accept the offer from the one guy who had offered “0”. I laughed and said to my friend that if I were giving it away, I would give it to you because you are my friend, not some guy who thinks that I am desperate.
As for Scott McClellan, I think it’s reasonable that Soros’s editor had a larger hand in writing the negatives than did Scott. It’s a shame that he’s supporting it, because if he really believes what was written, then he wasn’t an honest friend in the first place. An honest friend tells you when something is wrong. You may both disagree, but the discussion will be candid.
He doesn’t have much in the way of fans in the establishment liberal media. So apart from trying to make money, he loses his friends and his credibility.
