Hmmmm....I don’t think 15 seconds of misting counts as rain. LOL!

What Your Fridge Says About You
You aren't greedy, but you don't really deprive yourself either. You strike a good balance with the stuff you buy.

You tend to be a fairly thrifty person. You splurge occasionally, but you're mostly a saver.

You don't tend to be a very adventurous person, but you do surprise everyone now and then. You have a bit of a wild side.

You are responsible, together, and mature. You act like an adult, even when you don't feel like it.

You are likely to be married - and very busy.

I have to admit hubby sometimes puts vodka in the freezer too. Not sure why.

He's hiding it from you. Looks like it doesn't work very well. LOL

Seriously, pre-cooling the vodka makes ice cubes unnecessary in mixed drinks. Melting ice cubes dilute and change the strength of mixed drinks.

Vodka will remain liquid in the coldest of freezers.

I never knew that (vodka not freezing). I don’t drink it so don’t know much about it, lol. I only drink beer and once in a great while, jello shots. And once last fall during the Penn State Notre Dame party, I did the ice luge, lol.

Beer is more than enough for me. Gives me a nice buzz ;)

Thanks. I don’t drink Martinis either. My husband says a traditional martini is gin with a bit of vermouth but he doesn’t put vermouth in them. He makes vodka martinis?

But summer smells are always good in my opinion.

My personal booze knowledge is beer only, lol.

Now I want to know that story ;)

He usually only drinks beer, sometimes margaritas, sometimes martinis when my oldest brother is here, and sometimes just straight Jack :)

He’s the bartender for all our company/parties so we have everything. I only drink beer so all that is out of my area. I can make and do make irish cream, annissette (sp), dago red wine. I don’t drink it, though.

Ketel One seems to be the vodka choice.

Simple is always good, imo. Sometimes the most fun just happens.

If anyone came here, I’d be worried I wasn’t providing enough entertainment, fun things to do, etc. I think that’s natural. For example, say next year, some of you wanted to visit NJ. I’d freak for a while wondering how to show you all the great things in NJ and Philly, etc. But, it’d be a blast because fun stuff just happens, imo.

When I was in SLC with my oldest, for a vb championship tournament, it was nightmare at first getting around, getting lost, etc. Yet, we had so much fun even being lost. And, one day, the team decided to go to Park City Resort (I’ll have to ask her for the exact name). Fortunately, I wasn’t driving, another mom, me and our two kids were in the same car. Other mom was driving. It was the most terrifying experience (this mountain thing) but also the most fun, too. We finally arrived safely to Park City Resort (?) and then the zip line almost gave me a heart attack. By the time we left (and got lost, way lost, back to the hotel) I was shocked I didn’t have a heart attack. The sites didn’t matter, the best part was just enjoying the people and the crazy experiences.

From reading the posts about your trip, you guys had a blast, whether it was just having breakfast or lunch or riding in those bumpy cars. You didn’t need whizbang adventures because you had them with the people involved. Now that’s a great vacation imo.

Of course.

The Canteen music thread rocks. I don’t post all the time but always check it out and listen to the links posted.

Would you like to be added to my pinglist?

Sometimes I get a wild hair and post over 200 songs in a weekend.

Sure. :)

Wild hair?

I always check the canteen music thread because it’s fun - music I know and some I don’t.

I’ll just put you on my list for now, if you want a ping from all the DJ’s, Just freepmail Kathy in Alaska, she will send out a shout to all the DJ’s.

That option may be more than you want.
