An Israeli man is selling T-shirts bearing the slogan "Jews Against Obama" at his Lower East Side boutique — just around the corner from Katz's Delicatessen.
A sample T-shirt advertised in the shop's display window is decorated with assorted paraphernalia, including a yellow Star of David stamped with the word "JUDE," in the style of those forced on Jews in Nazi Germany; a black- and-white-checkered keffiyeh (a scarf known for its association with Yasser Arafat); a belt made of bullets, and a copy of the Holocaust memoir "Survival in Auschwitz" by Primo Levi.

Old Katz Delicatessen. Born and raised about 3 blocks from there (moved in 1970). Funny that it comes up again here, because just this morning FoxNews did a segment on some project to deliver food and groceries to the troops and the slogan “Send a Salami to Your Boy in the Army” came up. Nearly forty years later and I can still recall the sign with those words displayed on it hanging from the ceiling above their cash register. They made the best corned beef sandwiches on Earth! Not sure how they are today.
And they won't cut up like the one at the expensive shop. ;)

Maybe someone can explain something to me... Why is it that if you don't vote for someone because they're Black (or a Jew, or Hispanic, etc), you're racist. But if you DO vote for someone because they're Black (or a Jew, or Hispanic, etc), you're not?
Then again, I'm convinced that the more someone uses the word "racist" the greater the odds are that they don't actually know the meaning of the word.
