Hillary Clinton is still in the presidential race, she said today, because "historically, it makes no sense" to quit, and added that, "Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June," making an odd comparison between the dead candidate and Barack Obama.

"People have been trying to push me out since Iowa," she said to the Argus Leader's editorial board.

I got to think the MSM will pick up on this assassination fu by Hill...they hate her....who knows they may revisit Vince Foster and Ron Brown too.

MSNBC just did a lengthy story on this. Apparently, the Clinton camp is going into a heavy CYA mode.

I listened to the entire clip and it wasn’t on there. However, it is being reported all over the place, so I guess it happened.

It's a lengthy clip, and most of it is dry policy wonking about energy and cellulosic ethanol and the poor Indian reservations and such. Towards the end, they turn to the horserace, and she makes quite a strong case for why she should stay in. The remark about the assassination happening in June is a sort of Freudian aside. It provokes no reaction from the editors.

Anyway, it will be fun to keep the pot stirring over it. Gotta keep the tea leaves aloft until November.
