Hillary Clinton is still in the presidential race, she said today, because "historically, it makes no sense" to quit, and added that, "Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June," making an odd comparison between the dead candidate and Barack Obama.

"People have been trying to push me out since Iowa," she said to the Argus Leader's editorial board.

Don’t know why, and it’s completely off topic, but the pic reminds me when country singer Keith Whitley died—with a BAC of .47 no less—back in the late-80’s.

His devastated, grief-stricken, (and gorgeous) wife Lorrie Morgan took the stage a few days later at a concert to honor Keith and his music.

So she gets up on stage, all teary-eyed, weeping, sobbing... she steps up to the microphone, and whispers to the hushed, loving crowd... “I loved my husband so much, sniff, sniff...he was a fine man, and I don’t know what I’ll do without him... he was my life and my heart, but... sob, sob, sniff, sniff.... I’ll just try and keep him in my heart forever, and go on without him, and... HIT IT BOYS! UH-ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR!!!”

On that cue, the band cranks up hard, and off she went, finally having found the springboard to revitalize her own failed career.

Well, that's the end of the line for Hillary. She sounds looney-tunes now.

As if she didn't before....

Her point is actually well-taken, however. She's got a solid bloc of delegates; and the RFK comparison should not be taken as anything more than a reminder that anything can happen between now and the convention. Why would she sacrifice her position, when "anything" might put her into the driver's seat?

I both hate and love to say it, but Hillary!'s right on this. "Hate it" on the general principle that I hate agreeing with her on anything; and "Love it" because it makes the popcorn-eating that much more enjoyable, come Convention time.

I have seen this behavior in litters of puppies and piglets . You move the bunch or handle them and there is always one who whines or squeals bloody murder no matter how gently they are treated . It is so humorous , one finds himself playing with them just to demonstrate this phenomenon . Between Hillary and McCain , Obambi is going to get played with .
