Barack Obama yesterday launched his search for a running mate - as Democratic calls for a "marriage" to rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton reached new heights.
With the party sharply divided after a bruising primary season - and with Clinton having won many key states - a growing number of Democratic officials are now openly talking about an Obama-Clinton ticket that could unite the factions and take back the White House in November.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), a Clinton booster, told The Post, "I am one that believes that if it works out that Senator Obama is the nominee, the strongest ticket would be Senator Clinton as vice president. No question in my mind...The weight of the states he carried versus the states she carried. It's different. And, therefore, if you combine them both, you've got the best electoral path."

Would be a great ticket. The vetting of Hillary will tie up Obama’s campaign. A perfect storm.

Queen Bee Nancy Pelosi does not want Hilldabeast anywhere near the ticket, and it’s a sure bet Michelle Obama is dead-set against it.

When your hysteria about a Clinton-Obama ticket turns out to be a fraud are you going to post a thread publicly apologizing to Limbaugh or are you, like the usual Leftists around here, just going to slink back into the sewer?

No, like I said before, I like having you around. While I truly hope that Hillary isn’t on the ticket, if she is at least I’ll get to watch people like you-attacking anyone with legitimate questions about this crazy strategy as “liberals” and “idiots”-eat a big helping of crow.

No kidding! The is poster has spent the last few month's claiming that Operation Chaos would give the nomination to Hillary. Now that it is clear that it didn't, he is harping about it assuring her the VP spot.
I am sure once that doesn't happen he will change the attack to something else. Reading over his posting history, about a third of his posts have been dedicated to criticizing Operation Chaos. He went "all in" on his contention that Limbaugh was stupid/evil because he was throwing the nomination to Hillary. Now that the poster has been proven wrong and Rush has once again been proven to be his superior, he just won't let it go.

So the short answer is yes, like the rest of the trash talkers over the years, when your trash talk turns out to be complete hysteric fraud, you will magically disappear rather then admit your political incompetence and atone for it.

I cannot imagine either of these two getting together, no matter how much I thought Limbaugh was playing with fire.
Just cannot see the spouses co-existing with the Principals. Bill and Michelle in the same Administration? Obama inviting the Clintons into the back room? My money says no way.

Gee...another Rush bashing thread for the strategery-challenged. Deal with the criticism, because it's appropriate. We were told that there would division at the convention and all the way to the election.
What we may get instead is a so-called "dream ticket".

I've been here since 2001 and a "third" of my posts are about a topic that's less than three months old?

Clinton and his co-president picked The Goreacle because he is a buffoon who will follow orders from Clinton and do as he was told. Like being a bag man at the Buddhist Temple, dancing in line, drinking to much ice tea,and telling us peons how there was “no controlling legal authority.”

Presactly. A lot of us have been saying that OC, by strengtheing the 'beast, would either allow her to make a legitimate claim to the nomination or force a "dream ticket" in order to prevent the very dissension that Rush claimed to be creating.

Two huge snobbish egos clashing. It just wont work!! Don't forget to throw in Bubba and Michelle. How about 4 snobbish and inflated and American-blaming egos/personalities clashing. It's tough to imagine them coming out of Denver without severe damage being done to their ticket. Let's hope Jimmy Carter shows up to cheer them all on.

Thinking about the indication that clintbilly is pushing hillbilly for VP, I just realized that this is just another way of him dissing her.
From a bio about John Nance Garner, "the vice presidency wasn't worth "a warm bucket of spit," although reporters allegedly changed the spelling of the last word for print".

Excuse me, about a third of your posts from the last 2 or 3 months is how I should have described it. Obviously you weren’t harping on an issue before it existed.

Frankly from the beginning it would have been Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton depending on who got the majority much like Reagan took Bush back in the day. The only mystery is whether Hillary has poisoned the well too much for Obama to drink.
I personally believe that Obama will take Clinton like Kennedy took LBJ after some arm twisting. 2008 race looks a lot like 1960. Hopefully McCain won't break out in flop sweat during the debates and all those dead Democrats won't tip the race this time.

So, in other words, nearly seventy percent of my posts since OC began have been completely unrelated to it, yet you want to portrary me as incapable of letting the subject go?
