Howdy everyone! Everything went great at the VA today! Stump is healing nicely and looks great! Had the staples removed. Had the picc line for IVs removed. They didn’t even make another follow-up appointment. Said all looks fine and I should only call if something goes wrong. Guess I’m through with the surgical dept for awhile. Physical therapy continues next week and my regular heathcare appointments at the VA clinic will continue on. Should have an appointment for a follow-up meeting with the prosthetics dept in about 30 days. Will be attending the Fresno Support our Troops Rally tonight!

Good for you Jim and congratulations on your successful recovery! Every time you mention your stump it reminds me of my high school wrestling coach who we nicknamed stump because of his short, muscular stature. He was a great coach and person.
