You are taking time to heal Jim, and we will have to hold up until you are back with us. Just keep healing! We will all be here when you are up “to snuff” again. Keeping you in prayer.

Howdy everyone! Had a pretty good day today. A double dose of physical therapy, visited a shop to get the ball rolling toward converting the seating on my chair to a gel cushion system (first step in typing is a well pampered butt), received an IV and got a two hour nap out of the deal. Feeling good today but arms still too weak. Hope to be back in the groove soon. My stump is still tender, but otherwise not much pain. Have to go back for a followup visit with the surgeon tomorrow. Hope to convince them that I would be a good candidate for a new leg. Feel it would help me transfer and as I regain my strength, God willing, I’ll regain some independence. Really enjoying being at home.

Seriously....you sound like you had a WONDERFULLY productive, restful day. This is very very good.
Gramp's puppy put herself into the bathroom, closed the door behind her and LOCKED the door. This has NOTHING to do with anything other than we're still wondering how she locked it........
A dog deserves her privacy.

Not sure about the teeth and the damage she may or may not have done to the woodwork and I’m NOT going to go check cuz well, the little darlin’ has ruined SO much wood in my house already that I don’t WANT to know and it’s easier playing ostrich than checking.

Yes we do not stop praying for Jim’s continued healing and strength and help with any of the tough things he is dealing with healthwise.
Know Jim has inner strength - I believe a gift to him from His Creator for such a time as this.
But, it’s good to know, that when we are weak, the Lord God is strong - on our behalf - as we call upon Him and depend upon Him.
Won’t be here over the weekend - to checkup on JR’s status but will be praying where I am.
God bless and keep all who have kept these threads going - from the very beginning of the “crisis”.....and all who have added prayers, humor (typical Freeperhumor), graphics, photos, reports from visits with Jim, and Jim’s very own “I am home” and status updates.
And of course God bless Ann Coulter whose wonderful roses no doubt brought just the right bit of encouragement and thoughtfulness at just the right time.....(as well as others who did similarly)....This is just a grand family of lovers of this Free Republic (and the nation it represents) and of those who come here.
