LOL!!! WOW! LUV, that’s some wild and crazy party you are throwing for Jim!
Don'tcha just hate it when that happens??? ;-)
Hoping that your visit to the VA Hospital went well today and that you are now back home resting comfortably.
That picture and quote by Felix Adler says it all, Amy. Perfect.
Thanks for the ping, granny, jellybean, grellis.
Welcome home Jim. Your spirit & GRRRRREAT attitude make all of us feel at home in your house. The outstanding human beings that you have welcomed into your house have given me and so many others hope and optimism for the future. May all appreciate what you have created and nurtured.
Sheesh! I shoulda known. I kept looking for the credits, but didn't see your name. Perfect, Mama Bear, perfect.
Hey .... I do a great job of posting others creations.
LOL
Hi PGalt.
LOL! You do enough, Amy! I forgot to thank you also for the ping. I REALLY do appreciate all of your pings and fine threads. You make this a very special home away from home.
Praying your followup visit goes well.
Please give us a report when you can.
God Bless
The followup visit was uneventful, but I was exhausted by the time I got home. Then I kind of went downhill a bit. Nausea and headaches are back. The home nurse stopped by and helped me a bit, then taught Chris to give me IVs. I received my first home IV while napping in the presidential suite hospital bed. Even got an extra hour or so nap after the IV, but I’m still too weak to type much. Will be receiving two IV’s per day for a week. It’s an antibiotic to fight the infection. The weakness in my arms turn out to be caused by a TIA (mini-stroke) and hopefully is not permanent. Won’t be able to post much tonight.
Thank you all so much for your prayers.
God bless.
Jim
God Bless and prayers for the best.
Prayers continue and continue, Jim. Just sit back tonight, concentrate on getting stronger...and enjoy the forum.
By the way, Sheila’s preparing a ham and potato salad dinner tonight and I’m really looking forward to it. Hoping it’ll pick me up a bit. She and Chris and John have been real troopers through all this.
You’ve done well, Jim...very very well.
God bless you as well, and hope you’ll keep getting better and better each day!
Please get lots of rest, Jim. You need it.
Missed your post today so I am about 10 hours late saying I hope it goes well.
Now, I hope it went well and you are back home ready for another night in “Syncro’s Room”.
Please continue to keep us posted and I will try to check more often!
I thought I read to the end...guess I missed your update post too!
Wish I were close enough to bring you some meals...I really am a good cook.
It is wonderful to hear your family have been so supportive and to hear you thank them in that way is very special.
Jim. That'll fix ya right up. Good food is always good medicine too.
