The Kennedy’s, as a family, have certainly given the full measure of devotion to this country.

No question... I hate their politics. But, I respect, and admire the passion they bring.

In all of my life, I will never hear a more moving speech than that given by Ted, at Bobby’s funeral. For that alone, I will always respect the man.

No matter what many people think, he is the last of a generation from a clan that has marked history in a mythical way. Such men deserve forgiveness for anything they may have caused through their politics. In a time of illness, the good must be remembered. That’s the Christian thing to do.

Dear Lord
Sen. Kennedy is ill. Touch him, I beseech Thee,
with the healing grace of Jesus Christ and make him well.
You gave him life and You have the power to renew his life.
We put him in Your kindly and loving hands, knowing that no harm can come to him while in Your care,
whether on earth or in heaven.
I believe in Thy power to heal the sick. Through faith, the
tremendous healing force of God the Creator re-creates.
I hold this Child Yours up to Thee and humbly ask that You will
lay Your hands upon him and restore him, even as
You did to those about whom we read in the Bible.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, and
You, Dear Lord, can give new health and strength to our dear one.
This we humbly and earnestly request in Jesus’ holy name.
