politics is “give and take”....you vote for a guy/gal that makes the best of the cards delt.........an “all or none” positions gets you nowhere.......them’s the facts in a two party system.
McCain’s positions on both illegal amnesty and global warming (puke)...have some things in them that I like...and some that I detest....but I can work with him. He is known quantity and I’m willing to give him a shot for 4 years. If he spends like Bush...I’ll want to wring his neck...but I don’t think he will. There are no guarantees.
I can’t work with Hillary or Obama..and know them to be at least Socialists (maybe worse) and don’t want them anywhere near the WH..THERE....that’s my breaking point.
You are NOT the rude one....But I also don’t think ones a RINO to support MCCain.....I do think it’s a waste of time to bash the only canidate that gives us any hope of achieveing SOME of our agenda....so all the name calling here on FR wastes time that we could use to otherwise influence MCCain to do our bidding.
That’s the goal: get the one closest to our views elected and commence the beatings until he sees it our way.
I suggest you move upthread and read my post #13. I never called anyone here a RINO. I called McCain (and his Republican political ilk) a RINO. Here's the entire paragraph: "You dont like it, thats your problem. Go ahead and vote for the RINOs as much as you like. Youre the reason were in this predicament. Youre the support they count on. Live with it."
And I stand by it.
