Let's take a look at some other pictures of that rally to put things in perspective:

KPIC:

Compared to the pix above, we see the top bit uncropped, showing the crowd does not stretch out to inifinity.

Is there more?

Yep.

Same from the Salem News:

Now we see that the width of the crowd is also not infinite, on either side, and the crowd is also confined in front of the candidate.

And look where the photo line has been set up. See the bleachers in the foreground? They are positioned so the ONLY perspective the photographers can get is the candidate in front of people, and if the pictures are cropped creatively, a seemingly infinite sea of people.

Yahoo is running this as their lead news photo.

The ones of Hillary are showing her talking to small crowds of 'stereotypical' country folk.

Is this fair journalism or 'selectively edited' photojournalism to imply that Obama has infinite crowds wherever he goes?

Oh yes, one more to put the 'unprecedented' notion to rest, here is the Haughty John Kerry in Portland in 2004:

A savvy photo editor can even make John Kerry look like a messiah... ;)

Get this out to keep Hillary supporters from being disillusioned. She needs our help to perservere until Denver! :D

In one of my former positions, we often had to estimate crowd size for the media. Always on the high side, we frequently overestimated by 10,000 or more to make it sound good.

And really, without ticket sales, how does one count 75,000 people? One, two, three, four, five, six,...

Can’t help but think about this scripture when I see your headline
Revelation 13
1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Between photo shop technology and unabashed media bias, I wouldn’t believe an AP photograph if it showed the sun rising in the east.

From the article:

"Douglas County is among the rural Oregon counties that have suffered economically with the decline in the timber industry -- the main source of jobs in Roseburg and surrounding areas.

Obama drew cheers when he called for more research into converting wood chips into an alternative fuel source -- both to boost supplies of renewable energy and to create new jobs in timber-dependent communities.

Hmmmm. Which party is at the beck and call of the "green? movement which is responsible for the "decline in the timber industry"?

And given that decline, where are the woodchips going to come from to be converted to "an alternative fuel source -- both to boost supplies of renewable energy and to create new jobs in timber-dependent communities", which jobs have already been lost due to the Democrat-aided "decline in the timber industry".

Anyone who supports this ignorant, two-faced empty suit is certifiable.

I'm no Obama supporter, but that's a darned good crowd. I don't think the photographer did anything underhanded or anything. Here's a standard crowd shot from a UT game I did last year:

I used a telephoto to flatten the crowd and cropped to cut out the dead part of the stadium steps, etc.

I'll admit I get aggravated when photographers stage eight people together and crop tight to make it look like a big crowd, but 80,000 is a heck of a crowd. All they did was record it dramatically.

They also 'forgot' to 'report' that Obama's 'supporters' were dancing to an opening act, the Portland-based band The Decemberists.

McCain won’t draw 75,000 in a month of stops. Well, it may well be 500,000, but you have to subtract all the illegal aliens.

Why don't we seize the opportunity provided by the MSM's deification of Obama to permanently de-claw the IRS and get God back into the public school classrooms?

This post (<-click), while addressing taxes, helps to explain why government "leaders" like Obama are actually in contempt of the Constitution that they have sworn to defend, foolishly following in the footsteps of FDR's dirty federal spending politics.

In fact, the article referenced below shows that Obama is the #1 federal spending proposer in the Senate for '08; Clinton is #2.

Obama, a big-shot federal spender
And this post (<-click) exposes how corrupt justices then began using FDR's politically correct license to ignore the 10th A. to unlawfully stifle traditional family values, including the USSC's scandalous legalization of abortion in Roe v. Wade. Note that the post first references two non-abortion cases in order to show Roe v. Wade in a different, troubling perspective.

In fact, consider that the states have the constitutional power (10th A.) to authorize public schools to lead non-mandatory (14th A.) classroom discussions on the pros and cons of evolution, creationism and ID, as examples, regardless that atheists, separatists, pagan-minded judges and the MSM are misleading the people to think that doing such things in public schools is unconstitutional.

The people need to reconnect with the Founder's division of federal and state government powers. The people then need to wise up to the major problems that, since the days of FDR's dirty politics, the USSC has not only wrongly been ignoring the 10th A. protected power of the states to address religious issues, but also that Congress has not been operating within the restraints of the federal Constitution, particularly where constitutionally unauthorized federal spending is concerned.

The bottom line is that the people need to get in the faces of judges, demanding that judges uphold their oaths to defend the 10th A. protected powers of the states to address religious issues - or get off the bench. The people also need to send big-shot, Constitution-ignoring federal spenders like Obama home as opposed to trying to send people like him to the Oval Office. The people need to get in the faces of members of Congress, demanding a stop to constitutionally unauthorized federal spending while appropriately lowering federal taxes - or get out of DC.

Lincoln put it this way.

"We the People are the rightful master of both congress and the courts - not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." --Abraham Lincoln, Political debates between Lincoln and Douglas, 1858.

Liberals share one trait if nothing else and that is the ease at which they are manipulated. Many believe they are doing the right things. That’s what makes them so dangerous. They fight so hard for their ideals but are lied to in such a way that the power hungry like Obama and Hillary further their goals through the ideals of their supporters.

Obama.

Let me see if I have this straight.

His father was Kenyan, Moslem, black. We have seen pictures of his African 'family.'

His mother is a white, atheistic Kansan.

Where are the pictures of his Kansan, white mother and his white grandparents who raised him?

His father deserted his mother and him when he was very young and went back to his family in Kenya.

His mother returned to Hawaii and he was raised by his white Kansan grandparents.

HE later went to the best and costliest schools. How?

He lives in a $1.4 million dollar house that he aquired through a deal with a wealthy fund raiser. How?

He 'worked' as a civil rights activist in Chicago. The presidency is not a civil rights post nor is it subject to affirmative action set asides.

He entered politics at the state level and then the national level without minimal experience.

He is proud of his 'African heritage' but it seems that his only African connection was that his African father got a white girl pregnant and then deserted her. I didn't know that sperm carried a 'cultural' gene. Where is the pride in his white culture?

He goes to a 'Afrocentric' church that hates whites, hates jews, and blames America for all the world's perceived faults and then repeatedly covers up for the pastor and the church.

He claims that he could not confront his pastor but he wants us to believe that he can confront North Korea and Iran.

Yes, I fail miserably at attempting to see how he could be a uniter and bring us together.

I think that the 'hope' is that he hopes no one will be capable of asembling the pieces of this puzzle.

They must have taken lessons in doctoring photos from Reuters. If you look closely in the crowd you can see the “green helmet” man and the woman whose house in several different parts of Lebanon was blown up repeatedly by Israeli bombs.
